Content Manager US Students (Parental leave cover - 1 year)

Are you passionate about creating compelling content and eager to make a difference in the lives of US Medical Students? We are AMBOSS and are currently looking for a  Content Manager to join our team for 12 months (as parental leave cover). 

As a content manager, you will innovate, strategize, analyze, improve, and adapt our content initiatives to inspire and guide future doctors through their medical school journey. You will produce and curate high-quality content from concept and strategy to content creation and execution with a strong focus on the written copy. As a content manager, you will develop a deep understanding of US Medical Students and tailor your content to position our product through various channels (CRM, paid ads, social media, landing pages, etc.). You will update existing material, generate novel work, analyze performance data, and identify new ways to reach wider audiences in our US Students Market.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and Strategize: Partner with the marketing team and Marketing Lead to understand business objectives, set the vision, and develop a winning content strategy for the US Students Market.
  • Create Compelling Content: Craft engaging, high-performing copy to drive awareness across various channels and mediums, including social media, web pages, emails, paid ads, and blog posts.
  • Drive Cohesive Narratives: Ensure consistent and impactful messaging across multiple platforms and touchpoints, always bringing the AMBOSS brand and our value to students. 
  • Identify and Innovate: Discover new content needs and target our main audience while experimenting with different marketing initiatives across various channels.
  • Research and Analyze: Monitor relevant trends and analyze data to make informed decisions that enhance the impact and effectiveness of our content initiatives.
  • Support and Implement: Assist the marketing team in approving and deploying content across paid, organic, and CRM channels.
  • Monitor and Improve: Track and analyze campaign and content performance, continually providing insights and suggestions to boost content effectiveness.

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, effectively conveying ideas and information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to craft compelling and captivating narratives that engage and resonate with the target audience, making complex concepts accessible and interesting.
  • Efficient handling of multiple deadlines and excels in organizational skills, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of tasks and projects.
  • Possesses the ability to understand and empathize with the audience's perspective, tailoring content and approach to meet their needs and expectations.
  • Enjoyment of working in a team environment, actively contributing to collective goals and collaborating effectively with others to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Analytical skills to review content performance metrics and actively suggest improvements to existing initiatives or take past performance as a starting point for developing new initiatives. 

Attributes:

  • English proficiency at native speaker level with great written communication skills; Ideally experience in the US Market.
  • 3+ years of content management experience; good knowledge and passion for content and campaign creation.
  • Stakeholder management and ability to prioritize.
  • Confident with various marketing tools and skills (CRM, Google AdWords, GA4 or another analytics tool, social copy, landing pages, webinar platforms) and understanding of SEO guidelines.
  • Ability to multi-task and lead resources across multiple projects. Feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to execute your ideas and campaigns independently.
  • Ability to conceptualize, integrate, and explain complex topics in accessible ways while using a data-driven approach to inform decision-making.
